INSTALLATION PROJECTORS
Installation projectors are the ones that are permanently installed in the viewing venue. These projectors are suitable for large venues because they can project high quality images and videos on large screens. These projectors are quite heavy, which is why they need to be installed on either ceiling or wall brackets, trolleys, carts, or stands. You can also use several projectors in tandem to project huge images and videos on a single surface.
There are essentially three types of installation projectors that you can choose from, they are: LCD, DLP, and 3DLP. LCD projectors use three LCD panels to project images. DLP projectors on the other hand use Digital Light Processing chips, these are composed of chips covered in microscopic mirrors and spinning color wheels. 3DLP projectors use three DLP chips to project images, which means they provide crisper and brighter images than single DLP projectors.
In terms of image quality, 3DLP projectors are the best, followed by the single DLP, and then the LCD projectors. However, in terms of durability, LCD projectors are on top. DLP projectors have a lot of moving parts, which tend to wear down after some time: LED projectors does not have that many moving parts in them, usually the cooling fan is the only moving part.
